High contrast or not in Double Face?

Double Face Knitting is all about the colors and contrast. With the colors and the contrast you can play around and one pattern will change dramatically if you change the colors. And even the front and the back side of your knitting looking very different, just due to the change of the background color. Beim double face knitting spielen die Farben und der Kontrast eine grosse Rolle. Mit den Farben und dem Kontrast kannst du spielen und ein und das selbe Muster wird ganz anderst wirken, wenn du mit anderen Farben arbeitest. Dies siehst du bereits bei der Vorder- und Rückseite, wie ganz anderst das Muster wirkt, nur durch den Wechsel der Hintergrundfarbe.

And as you see, here I worked always with a high contrast, so the patterns pop out clearly. But you can also work with a low contrast in double face knitting. This will give a totally other effect.

Wie du siehst, hier habe ich immer mit einem hohen Farbkonstrast gearbeitet und das Muster kommt klar zur Geltung. Du kannst aber auch mit einem geringen Kontrast arbeiten beim double face stricken. Dies ergibt einen ganz anderen Effekt.
